VICTORY – Johnson County

In the fall of 2020, the Blue Valley School Board refused to allow students to participate in football and other outside sports. However, the school board itself did not make this determination but rather delegated their authority to the superintendent and an unelected board of advisors. A KOMA investigation was opened and applied immense pressure on the school board which ultimately capitulated and allowed outdoor sports to proceed.
